Dear Mr. Gifford,

            I am a resident of [insert your town here], and it has been brought to my attention that your company is proposing to locate a military like training facility and firing range in the town of Groton.

I want you to know that I do not believe that Groton is an appropriate place for this type facility.

            Since you have decided not to provide area residents with an opportunity to learn the details of your proposal and directly question the impact, I am forced to rely on the information provided by the media that this would negatively affect the quality of life for my family and community.

            I will be sharing my concerns by contacting my selectmen and other residents.
